Elise & Danny’s Engagement Shoot: Embracing Challenges and Finding Beauty

Every engagement shoot brings something special, but Elise and Danny's day stood out for a few unique reasons. Their shoot took place at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, a stunning venue with a rich history and lush gardens. Danny had planned to propose in the hotel's beautiful garden, but there was one catch—professional cameras weren’t allowed on the premises.

Adapting to this challenge, I switched gears and used my phone to capture the proposal. While it wasn’t my usual setup, I embraced the opportunity to test my creativity in a different way. It was definitely a fun challenge to work with the more intimate and spontaneous feel of the phone camera, and I think it added an extra layer of candidness to the moment.

After the proposal, we headed to Will Rogers Memorial Park, a spot that perfectly complemented the luxurious backdrop of the hotel. The vibe of the park allowed us to relax and have fun, and it gave us the space to really capture the joy and excitement of the day. Elise and Danny were so full of love and energy—it made the entire session a joy to photograph.

Despite the initial challenge, this shoot reminded me that sometimes the unexpected moments can create the most memorable results. Elise and Danny's day was all about adapting, having fun, and capturing love in the moment.
